Partners
The TFIS partnership includes a range of agencies committed to the development of sporting excellence in the local area. Dundee City Council, Perth & Kinross Council, Angus Council, Fife Council and the University of Dundee are committed to providing a significant amount of resources. These five major stake-holders or partner agencies have come together with the Scottish Institute of Sport and sportscotland to constitute the Tayside & Fife Partnership, formed to establish and drive the development and work of the TFIS.
In addition, Colleges of Further and Higher Education and Universities in the Tayside and Fife area and Scottish Enterprise Tayside have committed to providing a narrower range and/or smaller amount of resources or services.
The National Governing Bodies of the sports included in the Area Institutes are also key partners in the delivery of Area Institute programmes.
