How old where you when you first started your sport and what was your first memory? I started when I was 5 and my first memory was hitting golf balls at Drumoig driving range after buying a young gun driver!
When did you realize you had the potential to make it as athlete? It was when I was picked for The Scottish U16 Development Squad when I was 12..jpg)
What has been your favourite competition venue to date and why? Playing In Pinehurst, North Carolina in the World Teens Championships in the summer of 2008.It was just an amazing setup, the courses was great and the weather was awesome.
Did ever play any other sport? I used to play rugby until 3 years ago but gave it up to focus more on my golf.
What has been the highlight of my career? Winning the Reid Trophy 2009, The English U14 Amateur Strokeplay
What is a typical training regime for a week? In a week without competition I will go to the gym three times, have two - three hours golf practice 4 times a week and then will usually play on the course one day
Do you think the support offered by coach and TFIS gives you a performance edge? If So Why? The strength and conditioning training I receive has made a huge impact in my performance as Ihave started hitting the ball much further.
Which athlete, past or present, do you admire? And why? Rory McIlroy as he is an unbelievable talent, his ball striking abilities are phenomenal and he is fearless.
Best piece of advice you have been given? To stay in the present moment and to enjoy yourself.
Where do you get your motivation and inspiration from? By watching the majors on the television and thinking that, that could be me one day, that's what keeps me dedicated.
What is your ultimate ambition? To win The Open at St Andrews!
