Maggie Hendry

Maggie Hendry started with TFIS in 2008 as our first Physiotherapy Co-ordinator and this is a significant step forwards in the organisations evolution. Originally from Elgin, she is a Scottish capped hockey player and a former Scottish captain of the Scottish under 21 side and Universities teams. After qualifying from Edinburgh's Queen Margaret College in 1997, Maggie's first post was at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. She worked at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in Orthopaedics for four years and had two lengthy spells of work in New Zealand. The most recent between 2004 and 2007, working in elite sports clinics with international athletes from hockey, netball, rugby, triathlon and cycling. She will also undertake a Physiotherapist role for the Scottish Commonwealth Games team for Delhi in 2010.

Maggie currently combines her role as TFIS Physiotherapy Co-ordinator with a career in private practice.
