Sports - Swimming
The TFIS Swimming Programme includes:
- One pool session per week with a focus on individual skill development. This session also includes the Tayside & Fife Performance squad. This programme follows the macro cycle designed by the TFIS Performance squad. The sessions are run by Scottish Institute coach, Ciaran O'Brien.
- One supervised conditioning session per week.
- Two supervised strength & conditioning sessions per week.
- Individual psychological, nutrition and performance lifestyle advice
- Regular sports medicine input, as required.
- Fitness testing.
- Video analysis including underwater video.
- Review meetings held approx. every 6-months with the TFIS coach and service providers working with the swimming athletes.
